Directions: Shake well before using. Prepare for one application only. Do not store diluted fertilizer.

House Plants:
- Use 1 tablespoon per gallon of water.
- Feed every week. Water lightly so that diluted fertilizer does not remain in the drip dish.

Outdoor Plants:
- Use 1/8 Cup (1 fl. Oz.- 1:128) per gallon of water. Feed vegetables, flowers, trees, and shrubs every 1-2 weeks.
- Apply until soil is saturated or as a foliar feed until leaves are wet, top & bottom.
- It is best to foliar feed early or late in the day.

Tomato & Veg Formula, Rose & Flowering Formula, and Lawn Starter:
- Apply every 1-2 weeks.

Lawns:
- Use 1-gallon concentrate mixed with sufficient water to cover 8000 sq. ft.
- Feed monthly during the growing season and again in the fall.

Compost Enhancer:
- Use ¼ Cup (2fl. Oz.) per gallon of water every 2-3 weeks.

Seed Germination:
- Soak in a solution of 1 teaspoon per cup of water.

Neptune's Harvest is a division of Ocean Crest Seafoods Inc., which was established in 1965 as a wholesale fish and seafood company. The Neptune's Harvest Fertilizer division came about as an endeavor to fully utilize the fresh fish by-product from the filleting process. When a fish is filleted, the process of removing the edible portion from the fish, up to 70% of it remains! What's left are the heads, skeletons, scales and fins- this is called gurry. In 1986, when Neptune's Harvest was started, this portion was being brought out on fishing boats and dumped back into the sea. Clearly there was a need of more economical and environmentally sound method of use for this valuable by-product. Ocean Crest Seafoods and Neptune's Harvest, in conjunction with the state of Massachusetts and its local universities, has developed a process through which we changed an environmental hazard into an environmental benefit, the result being Neptune's Harvest liquid fish fertilizer. After several years of trial and error and further refinements we now believe that we have the finest fertilizers (either organic or inorganic) available today.

Anthony Parco Sr., President and founder of Ocean Crest Seafoods and Neptune's Harvest Fertilizer, has all five of his children and five grand-children presently working in different aspects of both the seafood and fertilizer divisions. ABOUT PLANT NUTRIENTS

All plants need three primary base nutrients on a regular basis throughout their life cycle: nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). These three macro-nutrients are usually displayed on the packaging of plant nutrients as NPK ratio.

Nitrogen (N) - Nitrogen is very mobile in the soil, and nitrogen in the form of nitrate has a tendency to leach away from the root zone. Nitrogen can also be lost to the atmosphere. Certain fertilizers, particularly urea, are easily converted to volatile forms of nitrogen if watered or incorporated into the soil after application. Soil testing for nitrogen is unreliable because it is so mobile in the soil. Timing of nitrogen fertilizer application should be crop-specific Excessive nitrates in drinking water are an environmental concern—another reason to maximize nitrogen utilization by plants and minimize excessive applications.

Phosphorus (P) - Phosphorus is essential in energy transformations in the plant. Without adequate phosphorus, carbohydrates manufactured in the leaves could not be transported to the flower or developing fruit, or stored in roots or bulbs. Phosphorus is usually associated with flowers, fruiting, and carbohydrate storage in roots, tubers, and bulbs.

Potassium (K) - Potassium is essential for photosynthesis, as regulation of cell turgidity, respiration, and water movement in the plant. It also controls the opening and closing of the plant’s stomata. Adequate potassium fertilization helps plants cope with drought stress, increases disease resistance, improves winter hardiness, and improves crop quality.
