All cannabis plants need three main base nutrients on a regular basis throughout their life cycle: nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). These three macro-nutrients are usually displayed on the packaging of nutrients as a NPK ratio.
Cannabis plants also require secondary nutrients, especially calcium, magnesium, and sulfur in order for plant growth to thrive. Micro-nutrients including copper, iron, manganese, and others are also needed for plants to be healthy and to achieve their maximum potential.
