Plant-and-System Rinse
- Plants need a clean environment to grow and thrive. They can generate more robust stems and foliage as well as stronger roots in a more revitalized environment.
- The plant and system rinse can be applied as a foliar spray and is intended for usage at various growth stages.
- Cleaner leaves and stems make it easier for plants to absorb nutrients and transfer those substances down into the root system.

Right Start
- The rinse formula for hydroponics and mature plants, FloraShield by General Hydroponics, is the perfect solution for giving new plants a solid start. Additionally, Flora Shield enhances root cleanliness for better structure.
- For several minutes, soak seeds in General Hydroponics Flora Shield to clean them and prepare them for germination. Cuttings can be cleaned with Flora Shield for just 20 seconds to get rid of contaminants that would otherwise prevent root development.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
- Mix 2 tablespoons to a gallon of water for all uses.

Seed Application:
- Before planting, soak seeds in the solution (1:100) for 5 to 10 minutes. Then, rinse with fresh water.

Propagation:
- Before using cloning gels or rooting powders, cuttings can be dipped in the solution (1:100) for 20–30 seconds before being rinsed with clean water.

Weekly Treatment:
- Each plant's roots should be watered with a watering can full of a typical 1:100 dilution. This is suitable for hydroponically grown as well as garden-grown plants using a Hydroponic Reservoir

Application:
- Add one part of the product to 100 parts of water once the reservoir has been drained.
- After an hour or two of circulation, replenish the reservoir with new nutrients.

Foliar Application:
- Spray plants sparingly with a typical 1:100 dilution.
- Make sure to spray the leaf's top and bottom sides.

Preparation of Rooting Medium:
-Use standard 1:100 mix to expand compressed coconut fiber.

To Clean Used Media:
- Soak media for a whole night in a normal 1:100 mixture to clean and ready it for reuse. Clay pebbles, coconut fiber, and rock wool are all appropriate materials for this.
- Media that has degraded or is highly polluted should not be used again.

ABOUT PLANT NUTRIENTS

All plants need three main base nutrients on a regular basis throughout their life cycle: nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). These three macro-nutrients are usually displayed on the packaging of plant nutrients as NPK ratio.

Nitrogen (N) - Nitrogen is very mobile in the soil, and nitrogen in the form of nitrate has a tendency to leach away from the root zone. Nitrogen can also be lost to the atmosphere. Certain fertilizers, particularly urea, are easily converted to volatile forms of nitrogen if they are watered or incorporated into the soil after application. Soil testing for nitrogen is unreliable because it is so mobile in the soil. Timing of nitrogen fertilizer application should be crop-specific Excessive nitrates in drinking water are an environmental concern—another reason to maximize nitrogen utilization by plants and minimize excessive applications.

Phosphorus (P) - Phosphorus is essential in energy transformations in the plant. Without adequate phosphorus, carbohydrates manufactured in the leaves could not be transported to the flower or developing fruit, or stored in roots or bulbs. Phosphorus is usually associated with flowers, fruiting, and carbohydrate storage in roots, tubers, and bulbs.

Potassium (K) - Potassium is essential for photosynthesis, as regulation of cell turgidity, respiration, and water movement in the plant. It also controls the opening and closing of the plant’s stomata. Adequate potassium fertilization helps plants cope with drought stress, increases disease resistance, improves winter hardiness, and improves crop quality.
