Chitosal by MIIM Horticulture has been carefully formulated using the latest scientific understanding of plant biology to trigger dramatic plant responses. By incorporating ChitoSal into any growing program, cultivators are able to switch on two separate and complimentary plant defense pathways. This sets off a cascade response within the plant and leads to a wide variety of beneficial physiological responses, allowing growers everywhere to achieve amazing results with as little as five applications.

Two highly bioactive plant effectors found in Chitosal by MIIM Horticulture activate two different plant pathways. Application
- The first application is recommended one week before transitioning to flower.
- ChitoSal is then applied once every two weeks throughout the flowering stage.

Note: For best results, we recommend foliar spraying the first two applications, followed by watering into the root zone once every two weeks until harvest.

ABOUT PLANT NUTRIENTS

All plants need three primary base nutrients on a regular basis throughout their life cycle: nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). These three macro-nutrients are usually displayed on the packaging of plant nutrients as NPK ratio.

Phosphorus is usually associated with flowers, fruiting, and carbohydrate storage in roots, tubers, and bulbs.

Potassium (K) - Potassium is essential for photosynthesis, as regulation of cell turgidity, respiration, and water movement in the plant. It also controls the opening and closing of the plant’s stomata. Adequate potassium fertilization helps plants cope with drought stress, increases disease resistance, improves winter hardiness, and improves crop quality.
